Tirumala, April 3, 2026 – In a gesture of support to temple operations, Ashok Leyland donated a Dost Plus XL mini truck worth ₹8.75 lakh to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Friday morning. The vehicle will be used to support temple logistics and service operations, helping TTD with day‑to‑day transport needs in the hill shrine.
On this occasion, the company’s Area Manager, Sri Mohammed Nazeeruddin, performed special prayers for the vehicle in front of the Srivari Temple before formally handing over the vehicle keys to TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary. The ceremonial handover reflected the tradition of seeking divine blessings before commencing service‑oriented use of the vehicle.
The donation adds another useful asset to TTD’s service ecosystem, where vehicles are regularly needed for material movement, maintenance support, and administrative coordination around the Tirumala temple complex.
