Tirupati, April 8, 2026 – The annual Sri Bhashyakara Utsavams dedicated to Jagadguru Sri Ramanujacharya (Sri Bhashyakara) will be conducted with great devotional fervour and grandeur from April 13 to 22, 2026, at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati. The 10‑day festival honours the Acharya, venerated in Tirumala‑Tirupati as “Sri Bhashyakara”, for his role in systematising Visishtadvaita philosophy and reforming temple worship traditions.

Daily Procession & Rituals –

Every morning at 7:30 AM, Sri Bhashyakara’s utsava murti is taken in a golden Tiruchi procession through the Chinna Mada streets around the temple.

After the procession, important Thirumanjanam (holy bath), Sattumora, and Asthanam rituals are performed in the sanctum, emphasising the Acharya’s spiritual authority and pedagogic legacy.

In the evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, special cultural and spiritual programmes unfold along the Pedda Mada streets, including Divya Prabandham recitations, devotional music, and discourses on Sri Ramanuja’s teachings.

ఉదయం 7:30 గంటలకు, శ్రీ భాష్యకారుల ఊరేగింపు మూర్తి స్వర్ణ తిరుచి పల్లకిలో ఆలయ సమీపంలోని చిన్న మడ వీధుల చుట్టూ సాయంత్రం వరకు ఊరేగింపు జరుగుతుంది.

ఈ ఊరేగింపు తర్వాత శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామి ఆలయంలో తిరుమంజనం, సత్తుమొర, ఆస్థానం వంటి ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించబడి, ఆచార్య పాండిత్యాన్ని, ఆధ్యాత్మిక ప్రాముఖ్యతను భక్తులకు స్ఫూర్తిగా అందిస్తారు.
