Sri Rama Pattabhishekam at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Tirupati

Sri Rama Pattabhishekam was performed in a grand and devotional manner at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Sunday night, drawing a large number of devotees.

Temple Rituals

The day began with Suprabhatam, followed by Abhishekam to the Moolavarlu. At 8:00 AM, the Utsava deities were taken to the Unjal Mandapam. Later, Abhishekam was performed using sacred water brought from Narasimha Teertham.

From 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, special rituals such as Agni Pratishta and Chaturdasa Kalasa Snapana Tirumanjanam were conducted in the Yagasala.

Pattabhishekam Ceremony

Sri Rama Pattabhishekam was performed ceremoniously from 7:00 PM onwards. The sacred coronation marked the spiritual highlight of the day and was witnessed by many devotees with deep reverence.

Procession Highlights

From 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Sri Sita Rama Lakshmana on the Golden Tiruchi and Sri Anjaneya Swamy on a special Tiruchi were taken in a grand procession along the four Mada Streets of the temple. The procession blessed devotees gathered on the route.

Devotee Participation

Temple Deputy EO Smt. Nagaratna, Temple Inspector Sri Suresh, other officials, and a large number of devotees participated in the event. The entire celebration reflected devotion, discipline, and traditional temple grandeur.
