Tirupati, 23 April 2026 – Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be performed on 28 April 2026 at the Sri Vedanarayana Swamy Temple in Nagalapuram (near Tirupati). This ritual is traditionally held before the annual Brahmotsavams, which are scheduled at the same temple from 1 May to 9 May 2026.
Daily schedule and main ritual

On 28 April, the day begins with Suprabhatam, Thomala Seva and Archana in the early morning, preparing the temple and deity for the major purificatory ritual.

The Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam itself will take place from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. During this time, the temple premises, walls, ceiling, and puja materials are thoroughly cleansed and sanctified using holy water mixed with fragrant substances, creating a purified and spiritually charged environment.
Darshan for devotees

After the completion of the Tirumanjanam, darshan will be allowed for devotees from 1:00 PM onwards, enabling them to witness the freshly‑purified sanctum and receive the blessings of Sri Vedanarayana Swamy and Sri Vedavalli.

The Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam acts as a ritual reset for the temple before the 9‑day Brahmotsavams, ensuring that the upcoming vahana sevas, Rathotsavam and other sevas commence in a controlled, pure and auspicious setting.
TTD and the Nagalapuram temple administration expect large numbers of devotees from Tirupati, Chittoor and neighbouring districts to attend the Tirumanjanam and the subsequent Brahmotsavams.

కోయిల్ ఆళ్వార్ తిరుమంజనం ప్రధాన కాలం ఉదయం 7:30 నుంచి మధ్యాహ్నం 12:30 వరకు ఉంటుంది; ఈ సమయంలో ఆలయ పరిసర ప్రదేశం, గోడలు, పైకప్పు, పూజా‑వస్తువులన్నీ సుగంధ‑పదార్థలతో కలిపిన పవిత్ర‑నీటితో శుభ్రపరచి, పూర్తిగా పునఃపరిశుద్ధం చేస్తారు.
భక్తులకు దర్శనం

తిరుమంజనం ముగిసిన తర్వాత 1:00 PM నుంచి darshan భక్తులకు అనుమతి ఇచ్చి, శుద్ధి చేయబడిన సన్నిధిని చూసి, శ్రీ వేదనారాయణస్వామి, శ్రీ వేదావల్లి దర్శనం పొందవచ్చు.

ఈ తిరుమంజనం Brahmotsavamsకు ఒక “ritual‑reset”గా పనిచేస్తుంది; అంటే 9‑రోజుల వాహన సేవలు, రథోత్సవం, ఇతర ప్రత్యేక‑సేవలు Pilgrimages‑friendly, pure, auspicious వాతావరణంలో ప్రారంభమవుతాయి.
