Tirupati, July 3, 2026: The nine-day annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Appalayagunta, concluded on Friday night with the traditional Dhwajavarohanam ceremony.
The sacred ritual marked the formal conclusion of the temple's annual festival, which witnessed thousands of devotees participating in various Vahana Sevas and religious ceremonies over the past nine days.
Garuda Flag Lowered as Per Tradition
As part of Dhwajavarohanam, the sacred Garuda flag was ceremonially lowered from the temple flagstaff.
The deities who were ceremonially invited during Dhwajarohanam at the beginning of the Brahmotsavams were respectfully bid farewell amidst Vedic chanting, signifying the successful completion of the grand festivities.
Devotees Witness Sacred Ceremony
A large number of devotees gathered to witness the concluding ritual and received the divine blessings of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy.
The ceremony reflected the rich Agama traditions and spiritual grandeur associated with the annual Brahmotsavams.
