Sri Agastheeswara Swamy Annual Brahmotsavams from April 21–30 – Devotional Fervor at Narayanavanam

Tirupati / Narayanavanam, April 6, 2026 – The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Agastheeswara Swamy along with Goddess Maragadavalli, associated with Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Narayanavanam Mandal headquarters, will be celebrated from April 21 to 30, 2026 with great devotion. The 10‑day festival showcases Vedic‑style rituals, Vahana Sevas, and spiritual programs, drawing devotees from across Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring states.

• Preliminary Ritual – Ganapati Puja & Ankurarpanam – On April 20, 6:00 PM–8:30 PM, the Ganapati Puja and Ankurarpanam (sowing of the auspicious nine‑grain seed‑bed) will be performed to formally commence the Brahmotsavam and seek divine blessing for the entire festival sequence.

• Inauguration – Dwajarohanam & Chandraprabha Vahanam – On April 21, 7:30 AM–9:00 AM, the Dwajarohanam (flag hoisting) will take place in Vrishabha Lagnam, marking the festival’s official start. That evening at 7:30 PM, the Lord will bless devotees on the Chandraprabha Vahanam (moon‑light‑like vehicle).

• Daily Rituals –

  • From 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM each day, Snapana Tirumanjanam (holy bath) will be performed to the utsava‑murti.

  • At 7:30 PM, Vahana Sevas (deity‑procession sevas) will be held. Daily highlights include:

    • April 22 – Simha Vahanam (Lion)

    • April 23 – Hamsa Vahanam (Swan)

    • April 24 – Sesha Vahanam (Serpent)

    • April 25 – Nandi Vahanam (Bull)

    • April 26 – Gaja Vahanam (Elephant)

• Festival‑Centerpiece Events –

  • April 27, 7:30 PM – Rathotsavam (Chariot Festival)

  • April 28, 7:00 PM – Kalyanotsavam (celestial wedding), followed by Ashwa Vahanam (Horse).

    • Devotees paying ₹500 for Kalyanotsavam participation will receive one Uttareeyam (shawl), one Ravike (blouse‑piece), one Laddu, one Appam, and Annaprasadam.

  • April 29, 9:00 AM – Sri Nataraja Swamy Veedhi Utsavam (procession); in the evening the Lord appears on Ravana Vahanam.

  • April 30 – Trisula Snanam (trident bath) at Kailasakona, and Dwajavarohanam at 7:00 PM, marking the festive conclusion.

• Spiritual & Cultural Programs – Under the auspices of TTD’s Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and Annamacharya Project, each day will feature devotional music, Kolata (folk dance), and spiritual discourses, adding colour and ardour to the religious observances.

• Temple Legend – According to legend, the Narayanavanam region was ruled by Akasa Maharaja, father of Goddess Padmavati Devi; the Agastheeswara Swamy temple is believed to have been built by his forefathers. The deity is held to be Swayambhu (self‑manifested) and was later consecrated and worshipped by Sage Agastya in Vedic mode, giving Him the name “Agastheeswara Swamy.”

తిరుపతి / నారాయణవనం, ఏప్రిల్ 6, 2026 – శ్రీ కల్యాణ వెంకటేశ్వరస్వామి ఆలయం సమీపంలో ఉన్న శ్రీ అగస్తీశ్వరస్వామి దేవాలయంలో ఏప్రిల్ 21 నుండి 30 వరకు వార్షిక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు ఘనంగా జరుగుతాయి. ఈ 10‑రోజుల మహోత్సవంలో వేద‑ఆధారిత పూజలు, వాహన సేవలు, స్పిరిచ్యువల్ కార్యక్రమాలు భక్తులకు భక్తి‌‑ఆధ్యాత్మిక అనుభవాన్ని ఇస్తాయి.

• ప్రారంభ కార్యక్రమం – గణపతి పూజ, అంకురార్పణం – ఏప్రిల్ 20, 6:00 PM–8:30 PM గంటల మధ్య గణపతి పూజ, అంకురార్పణం (సంక‌ల్ప అన్నము) చేయబడి, బ్రహ్మోత్సవం అధికారికంగా ప్రారంభించబడుతుంది.

• ధ్వజారోహణం, చంద్రప్రభా వాహనం – ఏప్రిల్ 21, 7:30 AM–9:00 AM మధ్య ధ్వజారోహణం (డీప్ జాలింపు) వృషభ లగ్నంలో జరుగుతుంది. సాయంత్రం 7:30 PM నుండి చంద్రప్రభా వాహనం మీద భక్తులకు స్వామివారి వీక్షణ దర్శనం ఏర్పాటు చేయబడుతుంది.

• ప్రతిరోజు కార్యక్రమాలు –

  • ప్రతిరోజు 10:00 AM–11:00 AM మధ్య స్నాపన తిరుమంజనం జరుగుతుంది.

  • 7:30 PM నుండి వాహన సేవలు నిర్వహించబడతాయి. వాహన సేవల ప్రధాన దినాలు:

    • ఏప్రిల్ 22 – సింహ వాహనం

    • ఏప్రిల్ 23 – హంస వాహనం

    • ₹500 చెల్లించి కళ్యాణోత్సవంలో పాల్గొనే భక్తులకు ఒక ఉత్తరీయం (షాల్), ఒక రవికె (చొక్కా పీస్), లడ్డూ, అప్పం, అన్నప్రసాదం అందజేయబడతాయి.

  • ఏప్రిల్ 29 ఉదయం 9:00 AM – శ్రీ నటరాజస్వామి వీధి ఉత్సవం; సాయంత్రం రావణ వాహనంపై స్వామివారి దర్శనం.

  • ఏప్రిల్ 30 – కైలాసకొండలో త్రిశూల స్నానం, సాయంత్రం 7:00 PM ధ్వజావరోహణంతో బ్రహ్మోత్సవం ముగిస్తుంది.

• సాంస్కృతిక, ఆధ్యాత్మిక కార్యక్రమాలు – TTD‑హిందూ ధర్మ ప్రచార పరిషత్, అన్నమాచార్య ప్రాజెక్ట్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ప్రతిరోజు భక్తి సంగీతం, కొలాటా (ఫోల్క్ డ్యాన్స్), పతి సత్రాలు, సత్సంగాలు నిర్వహించబడతాయి.
