Tirupati, May 29, 2026: The annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Padmavathi Sametha Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy at Narayanavanam witnessed grand spiritual fervor on Friday, the second day of the festivities, as the Lord appeared in the enchanting form of Sri Venugopala Krishna and blessed devotees from the five-hooded Chinna Sesha Vahanam.

The Vahana Seva commenced at 7:30 AM amid devotional chants and a spiritually charged atmosphere. Adorned as Lord Krishna, the divine cowherd who captivated the hearts of the Gopikas with the melody of His flute, Sri Kalyana Srinivasa radiated divine grace while riding the sacred Chinna Sesha Vahanam.

Devotees lined the temple streets offering camphor harathis and chanting “Govinda Govinda,” filling the surroundings with devotion and spiritual energy.

Traditional cultural performances including Kolatam, Chekka Bhajans, Mangala Vadyams, and devotional processions enhanced the grandeur of the Brahmotsavam celebrations.

Spiritual Significance of Chinna Sesha Vahanam

The five-hooded Chinna Sesha Vahanam symbolizes the five elements of nature (Pancha Bhutas). Lord Vishnu's procession atop Adi Sesha conveys the eternal message that the Supreme Lord is the protector and sustainer of the universe and all living beings.

Hamsa Vahanam Scheduled Tonight

As part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam festivities, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy will bless devotees on the Hamsa Vahanam at 7:00 PM on Friday.
