Tirupati, April 10, 2026 – The annual Vasanthotsavams of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru will be celebrated with grandeur and devotion at Tiruchanoor (Tirumala’s consorts‑temple precinct) from April 30 to May 2, 2026. The spring‑linked festival magnifies Goddess Sri Padmavathi’s role as Sri Venkateswara Swamy’s divine consort, and is a major devotional event for devotees seeking prosperity, harmony, and family‑blessings.

Prelude events

April 28: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam – A grand purificatory‑bath ritual for the Koil‑Alwar images (twelve‑zodiac‑representation deities). The temple will be awakened with Suprabhatam at dawn, followed by temple‑purification from 6:00–9:00 AM. Walls, roofs, flooring, and Puja‑tattvas will be sprinkled with sacred water blended with fragrant paste. A special aromatic mixture comprising Namakoppu, Srichurnam, kasturi‑turmeric, green leaves, camphor, sandalwood‑powder, kumkum, and other scented‑ingredients will be used to purify the entire temple‑complex. Darshan will resume from 9:00 AM onwards.

April 29: Ankurarpanam at 6:00 PM – A seed‑sowing‑like ritual symbolising prosperity and auspicious beginning. Devotees may attend as observers or participate symbolically.

Daily Snapana Tirumanjanam (Ritual Bath) – From 2:30 PM–4:30 PM, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed to the Utsava‑deities (festive‑murtis) in the Shukravara Thota (formal temple‑garden), where the Goddess is bathed and beautified with floral‑water, milk, curds, sandal‑paste, and other Prasadam‑like ingredients.

Evening Processions (Rajavahana Seva) – From 7:30–8:30 PM every evening, the Goddess will be taken in golden‑palanquin‑like procession through the four Mada‑streets of Tiruchanoor, giving devotees divine Vasant‑darshan in the cool evening‑air.

Swarna Rathotsavam – May 1 at 9:30 AM – A golden‑chariot festival in which Goddess Sri Padmavathi’s utsava‑murti is taken around Tiruchanoor in a decorated golden‑rath, symbolising her royal‑grace over the spring‑season.

ఏప్రిల్ 28 – కోయిల్ ఆళ్వార్ తిరుమంజనం: కోయిల్ ఆళ్వార్ ప్రతిరూపాలకు పరిశుభ్రత‑స్నాన ఉత్సవం. ఉదయం సుప్రభాతంతో ఆలయం అల్లలింపబడుతుంది; 6:00–9:00 గంటల మధ్య శుద్ధి‑కర్మలు జరుగుతాయి. ప్రాంగణం, గోడలు, కొలుపు, పుజాసామగ్రి అన్నింటిపై పవిత్ర నీళ్లతో శుద్ధి చేయబడతాయి; ప్రత్యేకంగా నమకోప్పు, శ్రీచూర్ణం, కస్తూరి‑పసుపు, ఆకులు, కర్పూరం, కరివేపులు‑పొడి, కుంకుమ, ఇతర సుగంధ ద్రవ్యాల మిశ్రమం ఆలయమంతటా స్ప్రే చేసి పవిత్రీకరిస్తారు. ఉదయం 9:00 గంటల నుండి భక్తుల దర్శనం పునరుద్ధరిస్తారు.

సాయంత్ర ఊరేగింపులు (రాజవాహన సేవ) – ప్రతిరోజు 7:30–8:30 PM మధ్య స్వర్ణ పల్లకిలో అమ్మవారు తిరుచానూరు నాలుగు మడ వీధుల వెంబడి ఊరేగుతారు; వసంత చల్లని గాలిలో భక్తులకు వసంత‑దర్శనం లభిస్తుంది.

స్వర్ణ రథోత్సవం – మే 1, ఉదయం 9:30 – స్వర్ణ రథంలో అమ్మవారిని అందుబాటు మూర్తిగా తిరుచానూరు వీధుల చుట్టూ ఊరేగింపు జరుగుతుంది; ఇది వసంత ఋతువుపై అమ్మవారి రాజ‑కృపకు ప్రతీక.
