SRI MAHALAKSHMI DEEPA PUJA HELD WITH DEVOTION AT CHANDRAGIRI

Tirupati, July 10, 2026: The sacred Sri Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja, dedicated to Goddess Mahalakshmi, the divine embodiment of prosperity and abundance, was performed with immense devotion at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Chandragiri, on Friday.

Thousands of women lit ceremonial lamps and offered heartfelt prayers, seeking the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi for peace, prosperity and well-being.

Additional EO Appreciates Devotee Participation

TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary appreciated the overwhelming participation of women devotees and said SVBC has been successfully promoting spirituality through innovative devotional programmes.

He noted that the live telecast enabled millions of devotees in India and abroad to witness the sacred event.

JEO Highlights Spiritual Significance

TTD Joint Executive Officer Dr. A. Sharath said TTD regularly organizes spiritual programmes aimed at promoting peace, prosperity and social harmony.

He observed that the Sri Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja, presented by SVBC, has inspired greater spiritual awareness among devotees.

Chandragiri MLA Promises Temple Development

Chandragiri MLA Sri Pulivarthi Nani said efforts would continue to further develop the historic Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple and enhance pilgrim amenities.

He appreciated the enthusiastic participation of thousands of women and stated that such programmes strengthen both devotion and social harmony.

Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad Secretary Dr. Medasani Mohan explained that the sacred lamp symbolizes:
