Tirumala, June 14, 2026: As the two-month-long summer vacation season draws to a close, Tirumala witnessed an extraordinary influx of pilgrims. Over 2,42,894 devotees visited Tirumala in the last three days, making it one of the busiest weekends of the season.
Despite the heavy rush, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) ensured smooth and uninterrupted services through extensive planning and continuous monitoring.
Senior Officials Monitor Arrangements
Under the directions of higher authorities, senior TTD officials and heads of departments closely supervised all pilgrim services.

Special Annaprasadam Arrangements
To serve devotees waiting in the extended queue lines, TTD established:
🍛 29 Annaprasadam Distribution Points
👥 Four Srivari Sevaks deployed at each point
Meals, refreshments and beverages were supplied continuously to waiting devotees.
Enhanced Drinking Water Facilities
The Engineering Department strengthened water facilities by installing:
🚰 37 Drinking Water Taps
These facilities were arranged from Gate No. 69 to Gate No. 1, ensuring easy access to drinking water throughout the queue route.
Additional temporary and permanent toilet facilities were also made available.
Health and Sanitation Measures
The Health Department deployed special sanitation teams to maintain cleanliness.

Additional Queue Blocks for Crowd Management
To regulate pilgrim movement safely and efficiently:

📍 From Bata Gangamma Temple Circle to Pachikalva Gangamma Temple Circle
👥 Capacity: Around 150 Devotees Per Block
Each block was supervised by:
🔹 Two Srivari Sevaks
🔹 One Security Guard
Devotees were systematically allowed into the queue lines from the Octopus Circle area.
Round-the-Clock Services Continue
Departments including:
🚍 Transport
🍲 Potu (Temple Kitchen)
🛡️ Security
🏥 Health Services
continued functioning round the clock to cater to the massive influx of pilgrims.
TTD stated that all departments remain on high alert and are continuously monitoring the situation to ensure a safe, comfortable and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage experience.
