Tirumala, June 24, 2026: TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary directed officials to take up the extensive development of spiritual and medicinal gardens across Tirumala.
During an inspection of various gardens on Wednesday, the Additional EO reviewed the ongoing maintenance works and offered several suggestions to improve the greenery and landscape of the holy hill shrine.
Focus on Spiritual Greenery
Addressing the officials, Sri Venkaiah Chowdary instructed the Garden and Forest Wings of TTD to further beautify Tirumala by developing gardens with greater aesthetic appeal.
He emphasized the need to cultivate plants and trees of spiritual significance, preserving the sacred atmosphere of Tirumala while enriching its natural heritage.
Promotion of Medicinal Plants
The Additional EO also stressed the importance of expanding medicinal plant gardens in Tirumala.
