Tirumala, June 9, 2026: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is taking further steps to enhance the quality and taste of the sacred Annaprasadam served to lakhs of devotees visiting Tirumala every year.
Speaking at a meeting with rice and dal millers from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana at Sudharma Conference Hall in Sri Padmavathi Guest House, TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri C.H. Venkaiah Chowdary reiterated that providing high-quality Annaprasadam remains one of TTD’s top priorities.
No Compromise on Raw Material Quality
The Additional EO emphasized that there will be absolutely no compromise in the quality of rice, pulses, and other ingredients used in preparing Annaprasadam.
He noted that maintaining the highest standards in food preparation is essential, considering that Annaprasadam is regarded by devotees as a sacred blessing of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy.
Over 98% Devotees Satisfied
TTD recently conducted a feedback survey among devotees at the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex.
According to the survey findings:

Rice millers who visited the Annaprasadam Complex and personally interacted with devotees on Monday night also observed overwhelming satisfaction among pilgrims.

TTD officials stated that a final decision on the proposals discussed during the meeting will be taken after review and approval by the TTD Trust Board.
