Tirumala, July 6, 2026: In a remarkable display of unwavering devotion, 116-year-old Smt. Navaneethamma successfully climbed more than 3,500 steps through the Alipiri Footpath to reach Tirumala, fulfilling her heartfelt wish to have the darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Appreciates the Devotee
The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu, appreciated Navaneethamma's devotion through a post on social media.
He remarked that her inspiring journey demonstrated that faith is greater than age and that her determination had touched the hearts of millions.
TTD Arranges Special Darshan
Following the directions of TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu, TTD officials identified Navaneethamma and her family and arranged a special VIP Break Darshan through the biometric entry system, ensuring her comfort and safety throughout the visit.
After the darshan, at Ranganayakula Mandapam, Vedic scholars offered blessings to Navaneethamma and her family members.
