EO Appreciates Coordinated Brahmotsavam Arrangements
The TTD EO appreciated the coordinated efforts of TTD departments, Police and other district administration departments during the nine-day Salakatla Brahmotsavams held from September 15 to 23.
He called upon all departments to maintain the same team spirit, coordination and commitment during the upcoming Navaratri Brahmotsavams.
73,500 Devotees Received Darshan Daily
During a presentation, TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary explained that from September 14, Ankurarpanam, to September 23, an average of more than 73,500 devotees received darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy every day.
He said careful planning and coordinated arrangements played a major role in enabling devotees to have comfortable darshan during the festival.
The cancellation of VIP Break Darshan and Privilege Darshans also helped provide devotees with a more convenient experience, while allowing them to witness the Vahana Sevas.
20% More Devotees Expected
TTD officials are anticipating approximately 20% more devotees during the Navaratri Brahmotsavams due to the Dussehra holidays.
In view of the expected increase in pilgrim footfall, officials are considering implementing a similar strategy to the successful arrangements followed during the recent Salakatla Brahmotsavams.
Devotee Services and Security Reviewed
The meeting reviewed arrangements across several important departments and services, including:
- Annaprasadam
- Sanitation
- Srivari Sevaks
- Floral decorations
- Electrical illumination
- Medical services
- Cultural programmes and troupes
- SVBC live telecast
- TTD Vigilance and security
