Tirumala, May 31, 2026: The sacred hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara witnessed a spiritually uplifting spectacle on Sunday evening as the monthly Pournami Garuda Seva was conducted with immense religious fervour and devotion.
Under the serene glow of the full moon on the auspicious Magha Pournami, Sri Malayappa Swamy mounted on the majestic Garuda Vahanam blessed thousands of devotees who gathered along the four Mada Streets of Tirumala.
Sri Malayappa Swamy's Divine Procession
The Garuda Seva was held between 7 PM and 9 PM, during which Sri Malayappa Swamy majestically paraded through the temple streets.
The divine procession offered devotees a rare opportunity to witness the Lord in His glorious form atop Garuda, the celestial vehicle of Lord Vishnu and a symbol of devotion, strength and protection.
The moonlit atmosphere added extraordinary spiritual charm to the event, creating a memorable experience for devotees participating in the sacred procession.
