Tirupati, June 13, 2026: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Rukmini and Satyabhama Sametha Sri Venugopala Swamy at Karvetinagaram witnessed the grand Rathotsavam on Saturday morning amidst devotional fervour and traditional celebrations.

The processional deities of Sri Venugopala Swamy along with Sri Rukmini Devi and Sri Satyabhama Devi were taken in a majestic temple chariot through the village streets, blessing devotees who gathered in large numbers to witness the sacred event.

Village Resonates with Govinda Namasmarana

The entire atmosphere reverberated with chants of "Govinda Govinda", devotional bhajans and traditional musical performances.

Devotees enthusiastically pulled the temple chariot while offering camphor harathis throughout the procession, seeking the divine blessings of the Lord for prosperity, peace and well-being.

Special Rituals Performed

Following the completion of the chariot procession, Vedic scholars and temple priests conducted special rituals and prayers after the return of the Ratham to the temple premises.

The sacred ceremony was performed in accordance with Agama traditions amidst Vedic chanting and Mangala Vadyams.

Ashwa Vahanam and Grand Finale

As part of the concluding events of the Brahmotsavams:

🐎 Ashwa Vahanam Seva will be held on June 13 at 7:00 PM.

🌊 Chakrasnanam will be conducted on June 14.

🚩 Dhwajavarohanam will mark the ceremonial conclusion of the annual Brahmotsavams.

Devotees Participate in Large Numbers

Temple officials, priests, Srivari Sevaks and a large number of devotees participated in the Rathotsavam and received the blessings of Sri Venugopala Swamy.

The annual Brahmotsavams continue to showcase the rich spiritual heritage and traditions of the historic Karvetinagaram temple.
