Tirupati, September 11, 2026: A grand Laksha Kumkumarchana was performed to Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru at the Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Friday, marking the last Friday of the auspicious Sravana month.
As part of the sacred ritual, Sri Mahalakshmi Ammavaru, Sri Saraswathi Ammavaru and Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru were consecrated at the temple mandapam.
Rituals Begin with Kalasha Sthapana
The religious proceedings commenced with traditional rituals including:
- Kalasha Sthapana
- Ganapathi Puja
- Punyahavachanam
- Kalasharadhana
Following these rituals, the priests performed the Laksha Kumkumarchana to Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru with devotion and according to the prescribed religious procedures.
The temple premises witnessed a spiritual atmosphere as devotees participated in the special Sravana Friday ritual.
Officials and Devotees Participate
Temple Deputy EO Smt. Nagaratna, Superintendent Sri Chandrasekhar, other officials, archakas and a large number of devotees participated in the Laksha Kumkumarchana programme.
The special ritual held on the last Friday of Sravana marked an important devotional occasion at the Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati.
