Tirumala, June 27, 2026: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has implemented a special action plan following one of the largest pilgrim gatherings in Tirumala's history, with more than 1.5 lakh devotees waiting for Srivari Darshan.

TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, who inspected the queue lines at Pachikaluva Gangamma Temple Circle on Saturday night, stated that the organisation has accorded the highest priority to the safety, convenience and early darshan of common devotees.

Entire TTD Machinery Working Round the Clock

The Additional EO said that on normal days, TTD facilitates darshan for 85,000 to 87,000 devotees daily through the coordinated efforts of:

🔹 TTD Officials & Employees

🔹 Vigilance Wing

🔹 Police Department

🔹 Annaprasadam Staff

🔹 Sanitation Workers

🔹 Various Service Departments

With Saturday witnessing an unprecedented influx, all departments are functioning in close coordination to manage the heavy rush efficiently.

Special Action Plan for Sunday

As another heavy inflow of pilgrims is expected on Sunday, TTD has initiated several special measures.

These include:

✅ Cancellation of all staff leave

✅ Deployment of the entire workforce in Tirumala

✅ Additional police personnel for crowd management

✅ Continuous public announcements and pilgrim guidance

✅ Round-the-clock monitoring by senior officials

More Time for Sarva Darshan Devotees

To facilitate darshan for more common devotees, TTD has introduced several temporary measures.

These include:

🚫 Monday VIP Break Darshan cancelled

🚫 800 same-day online Srivani Darshan tickets cancelled

📉 Reduction in SSD and selected privileged darshan quotas

⏳ The time saved is being allocated to Sarva Darshan pilgrims.

Essential Services Continue Without Interruption

Despite all accommodation complexes and queue lines being fully occupied, TTD continues to provide uninterrupted:

🍛 Annaprasadam

🧹 Sanitation Services

🏥 Medical Support

🚻 Essential Pilgrim Amenities

Officials are continuously monitoring the arrangements to ensure devotees face minimal inconvenience.

Appeal to Devotees

The Additional EO appealed to devotees to cooperate with TTD officials during this exceptionally busy period.

He requested pilgrims to complete their darshan without spending unnecessary time near the Sanctum Sanctorum, enabling thousands of waiting devotees to have darshan at the earliest.

He reiterated that, with the blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, TTD remains committed to providing safe, smooth and hassle-free darshan while ensuring the comfort and welfare of every pilgrim.
