Tirupati, June 25, 2026: The first Vahana Seva of the annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Appalayagunta, was conducted with great religious fervour on Thursday night.
Thousands of devotees witnessed the divine procession as Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy, accompanied by Sridevi and Bhudevi, graced devotees in the majestic form of Sri Vaikunthanatha atop the Pedda Sesha Vahanam.
Significance of Pedda Sesha Vahanam
The Pedda Sesha Vahanam symbolizes Adi Sesha, the divine serpent on whom Lord Mahavishnu reclines in Vaikuntham.
The procession represents the Lord's supreme protection, eternal presence and divine grace bestowed upon His devotees.
Amid continuous Govinda Nama Sankeertana, the Vahana Seva filled the temple surroundings with devotion and spiritual fervour.
