Tirupati, May 1, 2026: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Narapura Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Jammalamadugu, commenced with religious fervour on Friday morning through the traditional Dhwajarohanam ceremony.
The ten-day festival will be celebrated from May 1 to May 10, 2026, with various religious rituals, Vahana Sevas and cultural programmes.
Dhwajarohanam Performed in Mithuna Lagnam
The sacred Dhwajarohanam was performed between 9:30 AM and 10:15 AM during the auspicious Mithuna Lagnam.
The ceremonial hoisting of the sacred Garuda flag symbolically invited the celestial beings to witness and bless the annual Brahmotsavam celebrations.
Evening Programmes
The celebrations will continue with:
🎠 Unjal Seva – 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
🐍 Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva – 7:00 PM
Both events are among the important rituals marking the opening day of the Brahmotsavams.
