Tirupati / Nandaluru, July 30, 2026: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Soumyanatha Swamy Temple at Nandaluru concluded on a deeply spiritual note with the performance of the ceremonial Chakrasnanam on Thursday morning, following Vaikhanasa Agama traditions.
Priests, temple officials, and a large number of devotees participated in the sacred ceremony and sought the divine blessings of Lord Sri Soumyanatha Swamy.
Pallaki Utsavam and Snapana Tirumanjanam
The concluding day's rituals began with the Pallaki Utsavam of Sri Soumyanatha Swamy, accompanied by Sridevi and Bhudevi, from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM.
Later, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the Utsava deities and Sri Sudarsana Chakrattalwar near the temple Pushkarini between 9:15 AM and 10:15 AM.
The rituals included:
- Vishwaksena Aradhana
- Punyahavachanam
- Rajopacharas
- Sacred Abhishekam with:
- 🥛 Milk
- 🍯 Honey
- 🥥 Coconut Water
- 🌿 Turmeric
- 🌱 Sandalwood Paste
The Chakrasnanam was performed at 10:30 AM.
Vedic Recitations Fill the Temple with Spiritual Energy
During the sacred ceremony, TTD Veda Parayanam scholars recited:
- 📖 Upanishads
- 📖 Pancha Suktams
- 📖 Dasa Shanti Mantras
- 📖 Divya Prabandham
The deities were beautifully decorated with special flower garlands, adding grandeur and devotion to the celebrations.
Significance of Chakrasnanam
According to temple tradition, Chakrasnanam is performed for:

- 🌾 Prosperity for all devotees
Agama scriptures state that devotees who participate in the Brahmotsavams receive the divine grace and blessings of Lord Srimannarayana.
Brahmotsavams Conclude with Dhwajavarohanam
As part of the concluding celebrations:
- 🚩 Navasandhi and Mada Veedhi Utsavam will be held from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
- 🛕 Dhwajavarohanam will take place between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM, formally concluding the nine-day annual Brahmotsavams.
