Tirupati, July 7, 2026: The three-day annual Sri Sundararaja Swamy Avatara Mahotsavams concluded with great religious fervour on Tuesday at Sri Sundararaja Swamy Temple, Tiruchanoor, under the auspices of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
The concluding day witnessed thousands of devotees participating in the sacred rituals and the majestic Garuda Vahanam procession.
Sacred Abhishekam and Unjal Seva
The final day's celebrations commenced with a grand Abhishekam to Sri Sundararaja Swamy, performed using:
🥛 Milk
🥣 Curd
🍯 Honey
🥥 Coconut Water
🟡 Turmeric
🌿 Sandalwood Paste
Later in the evening, Unjal Seva was performed amidst Vedic chanting and devotional fervour.
Majestic Garuda Vahanam
The highlight of the festival was the Garuda Vahanam procession.
Mounted on Garuda Vahanam, Sri Sundararaja Swamy majestically traversed the temple streets, blessing devotees amid the continuous chanting of "Govinda... Govinda...".
The colourful procession marked the ceremonial conclusion of this year's Avatara Mahotsavams.
