Tirupati, May 1, 2026: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, New Delhi, commenced with great religious fervour on Friday morning through the sacred Dhwajarohanam ceremony.
The auspicious festival began amid Vedic chanting, devotional fervour, and participation from devotees gathered to witness the traditional rituals.
Dhwajarohanam Performed in Mithuna Lagnam
The sacred Dhwajarohanam was performed between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM during the auspicious Mithuna Lagnam.
Before the ceremonial flag hoisting, special worship was offered to the Garuda Flag, which was then hoisted on the temple Dhwajasthambam, symbolically inviting all celestial beings to participate in the annual Brahmotsavams.
Evening Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva
The festivities will continue in the evening with the majestic:
