Tirupati, July 6, 2026: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Joint Executive Officer Dr. A. Sharath announced that the Srivari Medical Seva programme has received an overwhelming response from specialist doctors across India and abroad.
According to him, 488 medical specialists have so far registered to voluntarily offer their professional services under this unique initiative.
Veterinary Experts Also Rendering Service
Dr. Sharath said the programme has also attracted specialist veterinary doctors, who are rendering voluntary services at SV Gosamrakshana Shala.
As part of their service:
🐄 More than 450 native cows have undergone comprehensive health check-ups.
🏥 Several complex veterinary surgeries have also been performed successfully, improving the health and well-being of the cattle.
Go Seva Equals Serving Lord Venkateswara
Highlighting the spiritual significance of the initiative, Dr. Sharath stated that Go Seva is equivalent to serving Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy.
He appealed to more specialist doctors, veterinary experts, and healthcare professionals to participate in the Srivari Medical Seva programme and contribute their expertise in this unique voluntary service dedicated to devotees and gosamrakshana.
