Tirumala, June 2, 2026: In an effort to accelerate pilgrim-centric infrastructure development and improve public amenities in Tirumala, TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing engineering and development projects on Tuesday.
The review meeting was held at Sudharma Hall in SPRH, where officials presented the progress of various works being undertaken by the Engineering Department.
Review of Civil, Electrical and Water Supply Projects
During the meeting, the Additional EO reviewed the status of several ongoing projects related to:
- Civil Engineering Works
- Electrical Infrastructure
- Water Supply and Utility Services
- Pilgrim Amenities Development
Officials briefed him on the progress of each project and the timelines for completion.
Focus on Kalyani Choultries and CRO Designs
Special attention was given to the proposed designs and development plans for:
Kalyani Choultries
The review focused on improving accommodation facilities and pilgrim convenience through modernized infrastructure and enhanced amenities.
Central Reception Office (CRO)
The Additional EO examined design proposals aimed at strengthening pilgrim service delivery and streamlining accommodation-related operations.
SV Museum Development Reviewed
Sri Venkaiah Chowdary also reviewed the ongoing developmental initiatives connected with the Sri Venkateswara Museum (SV Museum).
The discussions included improvements to visitor facilities, infrastructure enhancement and measures to enrich the cultural and spiritual experience offered through the museum.
