Tirupati, June 11, 2026: The Yoga–TTD Arogyananda programme being organised by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is receiving an enthusiastic response from employees, students, retired staff members and yoga enthusiasts across Tirupati.

Launched as part of the preparations for International Yoga Day 2026, the initiative aims to promote physical fitness, mental well-being and a balanced lifestyle among participants through systematic yoga practice.

Daily Training at 17 Centres

Under the guidance of TTD JEO (Health & Education) Dr. A. Sarat, yoga training sessions are being conducted every day from June 7 to June 21 at 17 different centres across Tirupati.

The 14-day programme has been designed to create awareness about the benefits of yoga and encourage individuals to incorporate it into their daily routine.

Participants are being trained in various yogasanas, breathing techniques, meditation practices and stress-management methods.

Promoting Health and Wellness

TTD officials stated that the primary objective of the programme is to inspire people to adopt healthier lifestyles through yoga.

The initiative focuses on:

✅ Emotional Balance

✅ Holistic Well-being

Organisers noted that yoga serves as a powerful tool for improving both physical and mental health while helping individuals cope with modern-day stress.

Yoga Competitions from June 18 to 20

As part of the International Yoga Day celebrations, TTD will organise special yoga competitions from June 18 to June 20.

Participants from various categories are expected to showcase their skills and understanding of yoga practices during these events.

The competitions aim to encourage greater participation and create awareness about the importance of yoga among youth and the general public.

Grand International Yoga Day Celebrations on June 21

The grand finale of the programme will take place on June 21, coinciding with International Yoga Day.

The celebrations will be held at the Parade Grounds of the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati, where a large gathering of employees, students, devotees and yoga practitioners is expected to participate.

TTD is making elaborate arrangements to ensure the successful conduct of the event.

Coordinated by Social Welfare Department

The Yoga–TTD Arogyananda programme is being coordinated by the TTD Social Welfare Department.

Officials expressed satisfaction over the growing participation and stated that such initiatives contribute significantly towards building a healthier and more disciplined society.

With hundreds of participants joining the daily sessions, the programme is emerging as one of the key wellness initiatives undertaken by TTD in the lead-up to International Yoga Day 2026.
