TTD Launches Sadgamaya Programme to Promote Value-Based Education Among Students

Tirupati, August 24, 2026: Promoting moral values, good conduct, spiritual awareness and knowledge of Sanatana Dharma among students is the main objective of the “Sadgamaya” programme, said TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad Secretary Dr. Medasani Mohan.

Dr. Mohan inaugurated the programme at Sri Govindaraja Swamy High School, Tirupati, on Monday under the aegis of the TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad.

Education with Values Builds Responsible Citizens

Dr. Mohan said education combined with values, culture and spiritual awareness helps build responsible citizens and a better society.

Through the programme, students will be introduced to the teachings of the Vedas, Upanishads, epics, Puranas and Bhagavad Gita, along with the lives and teachings of great personalities.

Students will be encouraged to develop discipline, self-confidence, devotion, truthfulness, good conduct, patriotism and respect for Indian culture.

Moral Verses and Subhashitas for Students

Students will learn moral verses, Subhashitas and selected poems, understand their meaning and practise them in their daily lives.

According to Dr. Mohan, this approach will help improve students' memory, concentration, communication skills and moral character.

He advised students to draw inspiration from young devotees such as Prahlada, Dhruva and Nachiketa, particularly their devotion, courage, concentration and determination.
