Tirupati, August 12, 2026: TTD JEO Dr. A. Sharath directed officials to complete all arrangements for the Sri Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja, which will be held at the SVCR Government Junior College premises in Palamaneru on August 14 at 6 pm.
The JEO, along with local MLA and former Minister Sri N. Amarnath Reddy, inspected the arrangements on Wednesday and directed all departments to coordinate closely to ensure a smooth, comfortable and spiritually enriching experience for devotees.
Extensive Facilities for Thousands of Devotees
Extensive facilities are being arranged for thousands of devotees, including spacious shelters, mats, Deepa Puja materials, Annaprasadam distribution centres, drinking water, LED screens and temporary toilets.
Officials have been instructed to ensure that all facilities are ready before the commencement of the programme.
Divine Ambience at the Deepa Puja Venue
The TTD Electrical and Garden departments have been instructed to decorate the venue with illuminations and beautiful floral arrangements.
The arrangements are aimed at creating a serene, devotional and spiritually uplifting atmosphere for devotees participating in the Deepa Puja.
Focus on Enhancing Spiritual Experience
Local MLA and former Minister Sri N. Amarnath Reddy said the arrangements should promote devotion and spiritual awareness among devotees.
He also stressed the need to provide all necessary facilities and maintain a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere at the venue.
Sri Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja Live on SVBC
The Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) will telecast the Sri Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja live from 6 pm on August 14, the JEO said.
He wished that devotees would witness the divine programme and receive the blessings of Sri Mahalakshmi Ammavaru.
HDPP Secretary Dr. Medasani Mohan, DEs Smt. Saraswathi and Sri Sarvesh, AE Sri Chandramouli, SVBC CPO and other officials participated in the inspection.
