Tirumala, June 27, 2026: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) organised a Pulse Polio Awareness Rally on Saturday to educate the public about the importance of administering Pulse Polio drops to children below five years of age.
The rally began at SV High School and concluded at Balaji Nagar, spreading awareness on protecting children against polio through timely immunisation.
Led by Ashwini Hospital
The awareness rally was led by Dr. Kalyani of the TTD-run Ashwini Hospital.
Doctors, healthcare workers, teachers, and students joined the campaign, encouraging parents to participate actively in the Pulse Polio programme.
Pulse Polio Immunisation Programme
As part of the Pulse Polio Immunisation Programme, polio drops will be administered to all eligible children below five years of age.
