Tirumala, June 10, 2026: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is taking significant steps to make Srivari Annaprasadam more delicious, hygienic and nutritious for millions of devotees visiting Tirumala every year.

As part of this initiative, TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri C.H. Venkaiah Chowdary held a review meeting with rice and dal millers from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana at Padmavathi Guest House in Tirumala.

No Compromise on Quality of Raw Materials

During the meeting, the Additional EO made it clear that TTD will not compromise on the quality of raw materials used in preparing Annaprasadam.

He emphasized that the interests and satisfaction of devotees remain the highest priority for TTD.

The officials informed millers that only high-quality rice, dal and other ingredients meeting prescribed standards would be considered for procurement.

New Empanelment System for Greater Transparency

To strengthen quality control and transparency, TTD is introducing a new empanelment system for suppliers.

Objectives of the New System

✅ Improved Quality Standards

✅ Transparent Procurement Process

✅ Better Vendor Accountability

✅ Consistent Supply of Premium Raw Materials

✅ Enhanced Devotee Satisfaction

The initiative is expected to further improve the quality of food served at the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex.

98% Devotees Satisfied with Annaprasadam Quality

TTD recently conducted a feedback survey among devotees regarding the taste and quality of Annaprasadam served in Tirumala.

According to Sri Venkaiah Chowdary:

📊 More than 98% of devotees expressed satisfaction with the current quality and taste of Annaprasadam.

📈 Many devotees stated that the quality has improved significantly compared to previous years.

TTD now aims to achieve even higher standards through the newly proposed empanelment mechanism.
