Tirupati, June 26, 2026: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will launch Akshara Govindam and Annaprasana services at Sri Vakulamata Temple, Tirupati, from July 3, 2026.
The initiative aims to provide children with an auspicious beginning to their education and first feeding ceremony under the divine blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Sri Vakulamata.
Akshara Govindam (Aksharabhyasam)
Children aged 3 to 5 years can participate in the Aksharabhyasam ceremony, which will be conducted by temple priests amidst Vedic chanting and traditional rituals.
Each participating child will receive:

🍛 Prasadam
🎁 A complimentary Akshara Govindam Kit
The kit includes educational and devotional materials designed to inspire children at the beginning of their learning journey.
Traditional Annaprasana Ceremony
TTD will also conduct the sacred Annaprasana ceremony, marking a child's first intake of solid food.
The ritual will be performed according to traditional customs under the guidance of temple priests with Vedic rituals and blessings.
Daily Schedule from July 4
Beginning July 4, both services will be conducted on all days except Tuesdays.
Schedule:
👶 Two batches per day
👨👩👧 25 children in each batch
✅ Total Capacity: 50 children per day
Registration Guidelines
Parents are requested to note the following:
📝 Advance registration at the temple is mandatory.
⏰ Registration should be completed one hour before the ceremony.
👕 Parents and children are requested to attend in traditional attire.
