Tirumala, June 17, 2026: In a significant development for the promotion of Sanatana Dharma across India, the Bihar Government has allotted 15 acres of land for the construction of a Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple near Patna.
The project forms part of TTD's larger initiative to establish Srivari temples in state capitals and important locations across the country, enabling devotees from different regions to experience the divine blessings of Lord Venkateswara closer to their homes.
Temple to Come Up Near Patna
The proposed temple site is strategically located:

🌊 On the banks of the River Ganges
🛣️ Adjacent to a National Highway
The location is expected to provide easy access to devotees from Bihar and neighboring states.
TTD Chairman Thanks Bihar Government
On the occasion, TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu met Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and conveyed gratitude for the allocation of land.
The Chief Minister was felicitated with a traditional shawl and presented with a sacred Srivari memento.
Also present during the meeting was Amrit Pratyay.

TTD has proposed a full-fledged spiritual and pilgrim service complex at the site.

Recently, TTD received approximately 10 acres of land in Guwahati for the construction of a Srivari Temple.
With Bihar now allotting 15 acres near Patna, TTD's vision of establishing Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples across India is gaining significant momentum.
