Tirupati, July 3, 2026: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Appalayagunta, reached a grand conclusion on Friday with the sacred Chakra Snanam, one of the most significant rituals marking the end of the nine-day festival.
The holy ceremony was conducted in the temple Pushkarini, drawing a large gathering of devotees.
Sacred Rituals Performed
Before the Chakra Snanam, the Utsava deities were offered Snapana Tirumanjanam as per Agama traditions.
Following the sacred ablutions, the Sudarshana Chakra was ceremonially taken to the temple Pushkarini, where the Chakra Snanam was performed amid Vedic chanting and devotional fervour.
Devotees witnessed the sacred ritual with deep devotion and sought the blessings of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy.
Dhwajavarohanam to Conclude the Festival
The Brahmotsavams will formally conclude with the Dhwajavarohanam ceremony, scheduled between:
🚩 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM
During this ritual, the Garuda flag will be ceremonially lowered, marking the successful completion of the annual Brahmotsavam celebrations.
