Tirupati, August 4, 2026: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will conduct the annual Teppotsavams (Float Festival) of Sri Venugopalaswamy, along with Sri Rukmini and Sri Satyabhama, at the Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple in Karvetinagaram from August 25 to 27, 2026.
The three-day festival will feature special religious rituals and colourful processions, culminating in the appearance of the deities on a beautifully decorated float in the temple tank.
Sri Kodandarama Swamy to Bless Devotees on August 25
As part of the Teppotsavams, Sri Kodandarama Swamy along with Sita and Lakshmana will bless devotees on the decorated float in the temple tank on August 25.
On August 26 and 27, Sri Venugopalaswamy along with Sri Rukmini and Sri Satyabhama will appear on the float and bless the devotees.
The Teppotsavam will be conducted daily from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on all three days.
Snapana Tirumanjanam and Tiruveedhi Utsavam
Several special rituals and religious programmes will be conducted during the three-day festival.
Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed daily from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by the Tiruveedhi Utsavam from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The daily schedule will be observed on August 25, 26 and 27 as part of the annual Teppotsavams.
Spiritual Discourses and Devotional Music
The Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and Annamacharya Project will organise spiritual discourses and devotional music programmes during the festival.
These programmes will add a spiritual and devotional dimension to the annual Teppotsavams and provide devotees an opportunity to participate in religious and cultural activities.
TTD Invites Devotees
TTD has invited devotees to participate in the Sri Venugopalaswamy Teppotsavams in large numbers and receive the divine blessings of Sri Venugopalaswamy and His divine consorts.
Devotees visiting Karvetinagaram during the festival period can witness the special float celebrations and participate in the associated religious programmes.
