Tirupati, August 4, 2026: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will conduct the annual Teppotsavams (Float Festival) of Sri Venugopalaswamy at the Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple in Karvetinagaram from August 25 to 27, 2026.
The three-day festival will feature special rituals, Tiruveedhi Utsavams and beautifully decorated float processions in the temple tank.
August 25: Sri Kodandarama Swamy Teppotsavam
On the first day, August 25, the processional deities of Sri Kodandarama Swamy along with Sita Devi and Lakshmana Swamy will bless devotees on a beautifully decorated float in the temple Pushkarini.
August 26 & 27: Sri Venugopalaswamy on the Float
On August 26 and 27, Sri Venugopalaswamy along with Sri Rukmini and Sri Satyabhama will be taken on the decorated float, offering divine darshan to devotees.
The Teppotsavam will be held from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM on all three days.
Daily Festival Schedule
Special religious rituals will be conducted throughout the three-day festival:
9:00 AM–10:00 AM: Snapana Tirumanjanam
5:30 PM–7:30 PM: Tiruveedhi Utsavam
7:30 PM–8:30 PM: Teppotsavam in the temple tank
The combination of Tirumanjanam, procession and the celestial float festival is expected to attract a large number of devotees to Karvetinagaram.
Spiritual and Devotional Programmes
As part of the celebrations, TTD's Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP) and Annamacharya Project will organise spiritual discourses and devotional music programmes.
TTD has invited devotees to participate in large numbers in the Sri Venugopalaswamy Teppotsavams and receive the divine blessings of the Lord.
