Tirumala, June 27, 2026: The second day of the annual Srivari Jyeshtabhishekam was celebrated with great religious fervour at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala.
On this special occasion, Sri Malayappa Swamy, accompanied by Sridevi and Bhudevi, adorned the magnificent Pearl Kavacham (Muthyapu Kavacham) and blessed thousands of devotees during a grand procession through the four Mada Streets.
Sacred Morning Rituals
The day's rituals commenced early in the morning.
🕡 6:30 AM – The Utsava deities were ceremoniously taken to Sampangi Prakaram.
🕗 8:00 AM – Maha Shanthi Homam was performed according to Agama traditions by temple priests and Vedic scholars.
🕘 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM – The sacred Abhideyaka Abhishekam was performed to Sri Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi, and Bhudevi amid the chanting of Vedic hymns, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere.
Pearl Kavacham – A Once-a-Year Darshan
In the evening, the Utsava deities were adorned with the exquisite Pearl Kavacham, one of the most awaited highlights of Srivari Jyeshtabhishekam.
Following the Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, Sri Malayappa Swamy shone with unparalleled divine splendour as thousands of devotees gathered to witness the rare Pearl Kavacham Darshan, which is offered only once every year during Jyeshtabhishekam.
The divine spectacle left devotees immersed in devotion and spiritual bliss.
