Tirumala, 16 April 2026 – The annual three‑day Sri Padmavati Srinivasa Parinayotsavam, also known as Sri Padmavati Parinayotsavam, will be celebrated in Tirumala from 25 to 27 April 2026. The festival commemorates the celestial marriage of Sri Srinivasa (Sri Venkateswara) with Sri Padmavati, in the presence of Sridevi and Bhudevi, and is held with great religious fervour at the Parinayotsava Mandapam in Narayana Giri Gardens.

Every year on this occasion, the divine wedding ceremony of Sridevi‑Bhudevi‑Sameta Sri Srinivasa is re‑enacted in the Parinayotsava Mandapam in the Narayana Giri Gardens, following scriptural traditions. -
Three‑day vahanam sevas:
Over the three days, Sri Malayappa Swamy (Utsava‑vigraha of Sri Venkateswara) is taken in procession on the following vahanas:-
Day‑1 (25 April): Gaja Vahanam (Elephant mount)

Seva and schedule modifications

Cancellation of certain Arjita sevas:
To give full focus to the Parinayotsavam, TTD has cancelled Arjita Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on all three days (25–27 April 2026). Pilgrims who had booked these sevas are advised to check the official TTD seva‑schedule and may request rescheduling or refunds as per the temple’s policy. -
Purana‑based context:
As per the Puranas, around five thousand years ago—in the early phase of Kali Yuga—Sri Maha Vishnu descended to earth as Sri Venkateswara from Vaikuntha to relieve humanity of its sins and to protect dharma. This descent and subsequent marriage to Sri Padmavati form the scriptural background for the Parinayotsavam.

పురాణ సందర్భం:
పురాణాల ప్రకారం ఐదు వేల ఏళ్ల క్రితం, అంటే కలియుగ ప్రారంభ కాలంలో, శ్రీ మహావిష్ణువు వైకుంఠం నుంచి భూలోకానికి శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వరస్వామి రూపంతో అవతరించారు; ఆ తర్వాత శ్రీ పద్మావతితో వివాహం చేసుకున్న ఈ దివ్య కథ పరిణీయోత్సవానికి సిద్ధాంత పునాది.
