Tirupati, July 8, 2026: The annual festival of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Vijayawada, was celebrated with great religious fervour on Wednesday under the auspices of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
A large number of devotees participated in the celebrations and received the divine blessings of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy.
Special Rituals Performed
As part of the annual celebrations, Maha Shanthi Homam and Poornahuti were performed in the morning amidst the chanting of sacred Vedic hymns.
Later, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, Ashtottara Kalasabhishekam was performed to the processional deity, invoking divine grace and prosperity.
The sacred rituals were conducted according to Agama traditions by temple priests and Vedic scholars.
