Tirumala, June 11, 2026: The sacred tradition of Annadanam at Tirumala continues to expand on a massive scale, with the Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust now holding fixed deposits exceeding ₹2,500 crore, according to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

The trust is sustained through generous donations from devotees across the world. Interest earned from these deposits, along with daily contributions, helps TTD provide free, nutritious and hygienic meals to lakhs of pilgrims visiting Tirumala every day.

More Than 44 Million Servings in Five Months

TTD revealed that between January 1 and May 31, 2026, more than 44 million servings of meals, breakfast and beverages were distributed through various Annaprasadam centres.

The figures highlight the enormous scale of the programme, which has become one of the world's largest free food service initiatives operated by a religious institution.
