New TTD Donor Policy Comes into Effect
Tirumala, July 14, 2026: TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu announced that the TTD Board has approved a revised donor privilege policy to bring greater transparency and uniformity in the management of donations made to various TTD trusts and schemes.
The revised rules come into effect from midnight of July 14, 2026.
The Chairman clarified that existing donors will continue to enjoy their current privileges, while the new guidelines will apply prospectively.
Major Decisions Taken by the TTD Board
Permanent SSD Queue Infrastructure
- ✅ Permanent sheds, queue lines and toilets near Alwar Tank
- 💰 Project Cost: ₹6.31 Crore
- Purpose: Better facilities for SSD Token devotees
Kumaradhara & Pasupudhara Dam Strengthening
- 💰 ₹2.77 Crore sanctioned
- Double-lane bridge to strengthen both dams.
Green Energy Initiative
- Installation of an 800 KW Wind Turbine Generator near GNC.
- Donated by Wish Wind Infrastructure.
- Approval for uninterrupted power supply to TTD for the next 25 years.
SV Museum
- 🎟️ Entry Fee (Above 12 years): ₹50 (including GST)
- Proposal to entrust museum management to the Tata Group.
Scientific Waste Management
- 💰 ₹5 Crore approved.
- Bio-remediation and bio-mining of over 25-year-old solid waste near Kakulamanthippa.
Fire Safety
- 💰 ₹2.35 Crore
- Comprehensive maintenance of fire protection systems in Tirumala and Tirupati.
New Rest Houses
- Existing 12 old TBC and ATC buildings to be demolished.
- New donor-funded accommodation complexes will be constructed.

Approved printing of:

- 📅 13.50 lakh 12-page Calendars
- 📆 75,000 Six-page Calendars
Tirumala Octopus Base Camp
- 💰 ₹2.91 Crore approved for additional infrastructure and FMS services.
Golden Armour for Vontimitta Deities
- 1 kilogram of gold from the TTD treasury approved for crafting golden armour for Sri Sita Lakshmana Sameta Sri Rama Chandra Murthy at Vontimitta.
100-Room Pilgrim Complex at Vontimitta
- 💰 ₹17.84 Crore
- New pilgrim accommodation at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Vontimitta.
Temple Expansion at Vontimitta
- 💰 ₹2.11 Crore
- Land acquisition and widening of the North-Eastern Mada Street for improved pilgrim amenities.
Tatayyagunta Gangamma Temple
- 💰 ₹2.50 Crore
- Construction of Salaharam on Mukha Mandapam and remaining compound wall.
Appointment of 791 Vedic Scholars
The Board approved the appointment of 791 prospective Vedic scholars through the Veda Parayana Scheme to ensure continuous chanting of the Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva Vedas in temples across Andhra Pradesh for universal welfare.
Honorarium Increase
Approval was also given to increase remuneration for artistes serving:

- Dasa Sahitya Project
- Annamacharya Project
- SV College of Music & Dance
Catering Department
Proposal to upgrade 65 Server posts as Catering Supervisor posts will be sent to the Government.
TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu said these decisions are aimed at strengthening pilgrim services, preserving temple traditions and enhancing infrastructure across TTD institutions.
