Tirupati, August 14, 2026: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has completed all arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations to be held on August 15.
The celebrations will commence at 8.30 a.m. on Saturday at the Parade Ground in the TTD Administrative Building premises, Tirupati. The venue and stage have been beautifully decorated for the occasion.
TTD Chairman to Address Employees
Following the flag hoisting ceremony, TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu will address the employees.
The Independence Day programme will also recognise employees who have rendered outstanding services in the discharge of their duties.
Outstanding TTD Employees to Be Honoured
Employees from various TTD departments who have demonstrated exceptional dedication in their duties will be honoured with 5-gram silver dollars and certificates of appreciation.
The recognition is aimed at appreciating their commitment and contribution to TTD services.
Cultural Programmes by TTD Students and Employees' Children
The celebrations will conclude with colourful cultural programmes presented by students of TTD educational institutions and the children of TTD employees.
The cultural performances will mark the conclusion of the Independence Day celebrations in Tirupati.
