Tirumala, August 14, 2026: TTD has once again cautioned devotees to remain vigilant against frauds being perpetrated through fake websites, WhatsApp accounts and social media pages in the name of Srivari Darshan, Arjitha Sevas and accommodation bookings at Tirumala.

Fraudsters Target Devotees Through Fake Platforms

Some fraudsters are operating fake websites, WhatsApp accounts and social media pages using the name of TTD and attracting devotees by offering to arrange Srivari Darshan, Arjitha Sevas, accommodation and other bookings.

TTD has received several complaints regarding such fraudulent activities.

TTD has previously cautioned devotees many times not to fall prey to fraudulent messages, websites and unauthorised booking offers.

Book TTD Services Only Through Official Channels

In view of repeated complaints about fake websites, devotees are once again requested to make bookings related to Darshan, Sevas and accommodation only through the official TTD website or official TTD mobile app.

Devotees should exercise extreme caution when dealing with unauthorised booking links received through WhatsApp, social media or other platforms.

TTD Strengthens Surveillance Against Cyber Frauds

TTD has put in place special surveillance in coordination with its IT and Vigilance wings, Cyber Crime Police and other concerned departments to take action against those operating fake websites and social media accounts using the TTD name, logo, images and trademarks.

Measures are being taken to identify, remove and block fake digital platforms and initiate investigations against those responsible.

During the last two years, 259 fake websites have been identified and removed, while cases have been registered against several persons associated with these websites.

Appropriate legal action will be initiated under copyright, trademark and cyber laws against individuals and organisations misusing the TTD name, logo and intellectual property.

Advisory to Devotees

TTD has reiterated that devotees should remain alert and follow necessary precautions to avoid becoming victims of cyber frauds carried out through fake websites and WhatsApp messages.
