Tirupati / Devuni Kadapa, August 24, 2026: The Jeernoddharana Ashtabandhana Mahasamprokshanam rituals at Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Devuni Kadapa, commenced grandly on Monday with devotion and traditional fervour.
Agama Traditions Followed in Sacred Rituals
As part of the first-day rituals, priests performed Manonmana Pramana Shanti Homam, Kumbha Sthapana, Panchagni Pranayanam and Sattumora from 8 AM, in accordance with Agama traditions.
Special Vedic rituals will be performed at the Yagasala at 6:30 PM.
Ashtabandhanam on August 25
On August 25, Chatushthanarchana, Ekashiti Kalasa Snapanam, Murthi Homam and Ashtabandhanam will be performed from 7:30 AM.
In the evening, Shayyadhivasam, Tattva Homams, Shanti Homam and Sattumora will be conducted from 6 PM.
Maha Samprokshanam on August 26
On August 26, Chatushthanarchana, Murthi Homam and Prayaschitta Homam will be performed from 7 AM.
The Maha Poornahuthi, Mahasamprokshanam and Kalakarshanam will be performed as per Agama traditions from 9:45 AM to 11:30 AM, under the auspicious Shravana Nakshatra and Tula Lagna.
Darshan After Mahasamprokshanam
Devotees will be permitted to have darshan of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy after completion of the Mahasamprokshanam rituals.
AEO Sri Ravi, Superintendent Sri Hanumanthaiah, Temple Inspector Sri Eshwar Reddy and temple priests participated in the sacred rituals.
