Tirupati, August 25, 2026: The Teppotsavams of Sri Venugopalaswamy along with Sri Rukmini and Satyabhama began grandly at Karvetinagaram on Tuesday with devotion and spiritual fervour.
A large number of devotees participated in the celebrations and had darshan of the Lord.
Snapanam Performed as per Agama Tradition
From 9 AM to 10 AM, Snapanam Tirumanjanam was performed for the processional deities of Sri Sita, Sri Lakshmana and Sri Kodandarama Swamy.
The deities were given a sacred bath with milk, curd, honey, turmeric and sandalwood, followed by special decoration.
Grand Street Procession
A grand street procession was held at 5:30 PM, with large numbers of devotees participating and seeking the divine blessings of the Lord.
Divine Float Festival at Skanda Pushkarini
At 7:30 PM, Sri Sita, Sri Lakshmana and Sri Kodandarama Swamy took a divine ride on the float at Skanda Pushkarini and blessed the devotees.
The colourful float procession was a major attraction for the devotees gathered for the celebrations.
Devotional Music Programmes
As part of the Teppotsavams, spiritual and devotional music programmes were organised by the TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and Annamacharya Project.
Temple Deputy EO Smt. Nagaratna, Superintendent Sri Srinivasulu Reddy, Temple Inspector Sri Veeraswamy, priests, staff and a large number of devotees participated in the programme.
