Tirupati, July 31, 2026: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced the schedule of special festivals and sevas to be observed during August 2026 at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Tirupati.
The temple will host several important religious events, including the annual Pavitrotsavams, Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam, Hanumantha Vahana Seva, Sahasra Kalasabhishekam, and special Pournami celebrations.
Weekly Friday Rituals (August 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29)
Every Friday:
- 6:00 AM: Abhishekam to Sri Sita, Sri Rama, and Sri Lakshmana (Ticket: ₹20)
- 5:00 PM: Unjal Seva
- 5:30 PM: Tiruchi Utsavam through the temple's four Mada Streets
August 7
🌱 Ankurarpanam
The sacred Ankurarpanam ceremony will formally commence the annual Pavitrotsavams.
August 8–10
🔥 Annual Pavitrotsavams
The three-day Pavitrotsavams will be conducted with Vedic rituals, Agama traditions, and special temple ceremonies for the spiritual purification and sanctity of the temple.
August 11 – Punarvasu Nakshatram
💍 Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam
- 11:00 AM: Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam (Ticket: ₹500 per couple)
- 5:30 PM: Tiruchi procession to Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini
- 6:30 PM: Unjal Seva
August 12 – Amavasya

- 8:30 AM: Sahasra Kalasabhishekam (Ticket: ₹500 per couple)
- 7:00 PM: Hanumantha Vahana Seva
August 28 – Pournami
🌕 Ashtottara Sata Kalasabhishekam
- 9:30 AM: Ashtottara Sata Kalasabhishekam (Ticket: ₹50)
- 5:30 PM: Tiruchi Utsavam from the temple through the four Mada Streets to Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini
