Tirupati, June 27, 2026: The third day of the annual Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Teppotsavam at Tiruchanoor was celebrated with great devotion on Saturday.
Sri Padmavathi Devi blessed devotees by taking three sacred rounds on the beautifully decorated float across the holy Padma Sarovaram, filling the temple surroundings with spiritual fervour.
Sacred Rituals and Tirumanjanam
The day's celebrations commenced with traditional temple rituals, including:
🌅 Suprabhata Seva
🌸 Sahasranamarchana
🙏 Nityarchana
Later, Tirumanjanam was performed at the Neerada Mandapam using:
🥛 Milk
🥣 Curd
🍯 Honey
🌿 Sandalwood
🌸 Other fragrant sacred ingredients
The rituals were conducted according to Agama traditions amid Vedic chanting.
Evening Teppotsavam
The Teppotsavam was held from 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM, during which the Goddess gracefully sailed across the sacred tank, blessing devotees gathered in large numbers.
Following the float festival, Sri Padmavathi Devi was taken in a ceremonial procession through the four Mada Streets, allowing devotees to receive Her divine blessings.
Fourth Day Celebrations
On Sunday, the fourth day of the festival:
🛶 Sri Padmavathi Devi will take five rounds on the float in Padma Sarovaram.
🐘 Later, the Goddess will bless devotees during the Gaja Vahanam procession.
Both events are among the major attractions of the annual Teppotsavams.
