Tirupati, 22 April 2026 – Scholar Sri Narasimhan said that the kainkaryam system established by Sri Ramanujacharya in Tirumala continues even today, describing Ramanujacharya’s contribution as exceptional. He delivered this discourse on the second day of the Ramanujacharya Avatar Mahotsavams at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati.

Sri Narasimhan explained that the temple service systems introduced by Ramanujacharya at Tirumala, Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, and other Divya Desams are still being followed in practice.

He also noted that key institutional practices such as Brahmotsavams, Abhishekams, and the Jeeyar system were initiated or strongly systematized by Ramanujacharya.
