Tirupati, 22 April 2026 – The annual Teppotsavams (float festival) of the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Devuni Kadapa, YSR Kadapa district, will be celebrated grandly from 29 April to 1 May 2026. Every evening, Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Goddess Sri Lakshmi will bless devotees by taking a holy boat‑ride on the temple Pushkarini at 6:00 PM.

Daily festival schedule

  • 29 April 2026 (Day 1):
    Sri Krishna along with Goda Devi ride on the float and take 3 sacred rounds on the Pushkarini.

  • 30 April 2026 (Day 2):
    Sri Venkateswara Swamy with Sridevi and Bhudevi ride the float for 5 rounds, enhancing the divine spectacle for devotees.

  • 1 May 2026 (Day 3):
    Sri Venkateswara Swamy with Sridevi and Bhudevi complete 7 rounds on the Pushkarini, marking the culmination of the Teppotsavam with the most elaborate float‑ride of the trio.

Daily rituals during the three days

  • From 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM each day, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed for the festival‑deities, with sacred substances such as milk, curd, honey, Panchamritam, and water used for the abhishekam.

  • In the evening, from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM, the Tiruveedhi Utsavam (procession on the temple‑streets) will be held, followed by the Teppotsavam at 6:00 PM.

Spiritual and cultural programs

  • On this occasion, spiritual discourses, devotional music, and cultural programs will be organized under the auspices of the TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and the Dasa Sahitya Project, enriching the festivity with scriptural and artistic content.

This Teppotsavam continues the long‑standing tradition of Devuni Kadapa as a regional Śrīvaiṣṇava pilgrimage centre, drawing lakhs of devotees each year and adding water‑rounds as a unique visual‑and‑liturgical highlight.
