Tirupati / Devuni Kadapa / Vontimitta, August 19, 2026: The Ashtabandhana Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Devuni Kadapa will be conducted according to Agama traditions from August 23 to 26, said TTD JEO Dr. A. Sharath.
The JEO inspected the arrangements at the temple on Wednesday and directed officials to complete all works within the stipulated time.
Engineering and Electrical Works to Be Completed
Dr. Sharath instructed officials to complete all engineering and electrical works on time.
He also directed officials to decorate the temple premises with flowers and illumination and complete the brass sheet works on the Dhwajasthambham and Bali Peetham by August 21.
The JEO stressed that all necessary facilities should be provided to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free visit for devotees.
The JEO was traditionally welcomed by the priests and had darshan of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy after circumambulating the temple amid auspicious musical renditions.
Arrangements Reviewed at Vontimitta Temple
Later, Dr. Sharath visited Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple at Vontimitta and reviewed arrangements including queue lines, kitchen, Yagashala, prasadam distribution and other pilgrim facilities.
He gave necessary instructions to the officials to improve the arrangements for devotees.
100-Room Accommodation Complex Proposed
Dr. Sharath also inspected the site proposed for the 100-room accommodation complex to be constructed by TTD.
He reviewed the ongoing development works near the Kalyana Vedika and directed officials to take necessary steps for the timely progress of the works.
TTD CE Sri Manoharam, Deputy EO Smt. A. Prashanthi, EE Smt. Sumathi, Deputy EE Sri Nagaraju, Temple AEO Sri N. Ravi, Superintendent Sri Hanumanthaiah, Temple Inspectors Sri Eshwar Reddy and Sri Mohan Babu, priests and other officials participated in the inspection.
