Tirumala, July 19, 2026: To provide a faster and more convenient accommodation experience, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has streamlined the room allotment process through Sub-Enquiry Offices, replacing the earlier system that required pilgrims to wait for long hours at the Central Reception Office (CRO).
The new process aims to reduce waiting time and ensure transparent, hassle-free room allocation.
Registration Process at CRO
Pilgrims should first register at the Central Reception Office (CRO), which opens daily at 5:00 AM.
To register, pilgrims must submit:
- Original Aadhaar Card or photocopy

Registration is completed through a Face Recognition System.
Pilgrims can choose either:
- Category A: ₹50 & ₹100 Rooms
- Category B: ₹1,000 Rooms
After registration, an acknowledgement slip is issued.
TTD has also arranged drinking water, Annaprasadam and toilet facilities near the queue lines.
Important Eligibility Rules
Pilgrims should note the following conditions:
- Applicant must be 21 years or above
- One room allotment per person every 30 days
- Only one member per family should stand in the queue
- Rooms are not allotted to a single individual or unmarried persons
SMS-Based Room Allotment

If the SMS is not received, pilgrims can scan the acknowledgement slip at the Kiosk Machines installed at CRO to retrieve the room information.
